BillyB
I just upgraded to EMC9 from EMC7. I've noticed that one of my favorite video transitions is not included in the newer version. Is there any way for me to "import" and use the old transition?

Is there any way for me to "import" and use the old transition? Hi, BillyB, Unfortunately, I don't think transitions can be imported from one version to another. In addition, if your video card is not adequate to support all the transitions in EMC9, some of those transitions will not be available. To check your card, open Videowave, click Tools>Options. Click the graphics button and let Videowave automatically check your video card. At the end, if the "Software" button is checked, your video card will not support all the transitions, such as 3D and page turns, and they will not be available. However, if the test results in the "Hardware" button being checked, then you will have all the transitions available that are included in EMC9 . Hope that helps
BillyB
Perhaps they have been renamed. Which ones were you looking for? I'm creating a wedding production. EMC7 had a pink heart transition. ECM9 has two different heart transitions, but they don't have the pink outline.
REDWAGON
I am familiar with the pink heart transition in older versions of EMC and thought it was pretty nice, especially for what your use is. I went through all of the transitions that are available in EMC 9.1 and you are right. That particular transition is not available. BTW, On the EMC ver. 7.5 that particular transition has a name of "Red Heart". I have a program that opens up all of the "CAB" files on a program dosc and I have checked with a search on both the program disc and the Contents disc and nothing comes up with that name, in any of the folders including any of the "cab" file folders. While checking all of the transitions. I happened to open a previous MyDVD project and just for fun deleted one of the transitions anjd then to replace it I clicked on "add transition" and checked out all of the possible transitions that were available. Oddly enough there was one option that was listed as "CUSTOM" and when I clicked on that, there were no transitions available per the screen that came up. So I am wondering what that particular listing of "Custom" is. Anyone know ??? Frank...

Some settings can be changed on some of the transitions.

I perform teh above and get the hardware. I can get 3d Transitions but some of the Graphical texts are very fuzzy or drag artifacts evn though the are available.
