DVD burnt from Mpeg2 file choppy and flickering

Rosita21

Question

I bought a sony SR62 handycam HD camera and transferred footage to computer for editing with EMC Creator 8 - playback looked fine including all titles and transitions but when burned to DVD in MY DVD resulting video is choppy and flickering a real disappointment. I saved the project opened up MY DVD created the menu and attached the DMSM Project file and burnt the DVD. What did I do wrong?

I use Adobe Premiere 6.5 and usually have to render before exporting to a movie - avi file. Then use EMC creator 8 to create the DVD - however I don't see an option to render anything before creating the DVD product in the project file for EMC8 - hope this makes sense - would welcome any help.

When you render you should have the option to save the file to the hard drive as a .iso - then burn that

However, when rendering, make sure that ALL background apps are closed down (and if necessary run a spyware/malware sweep first to kill off any 'nasties' that may be lurking). Also, defragment the drive before starting the render
