Videowave will not open

I can not open the Videowave section. I am trying to make a new video but when I click on videowave nothing happens and it almost seems as thought the computer is freezing but it doesn't. I just used the program a few days ago and made two videos with no problem. Any ideas what to do? The computer has not been turned off, no power outages, no children screwing around on it.... I'm at a loss.

I'd try restarting the computer to clear out the RAM memory.

 

If that doesn't work, I'd defragment the hard drive and check for spyware.
