Multiple disk images

I have used succesfully making from Eyetv recordings DVD discs first creating to my external disk a DVD diskimage and then mounting that on hard disk and then burning DVD with DVD video from Viedo_TS -function with auto compression. Worked fine.

 

But now Toast 7.1.2 creates several 1 Gb disk images instead of one large disk image file. These cannot be mounted and burned with compression to a complete DVD´from the recording.

 

Nothing has changed, what's wrong? What can be done?

When I rebooted my mac the problem disappeared and has been working OK since.

I haven't seen this issue so I'm not sure what caused it. To start with, when you create a disc image you can burn it to DVD using the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window. You do not need to mount the image file and add its VIDEO_TS folder to the DVD Video from VIDEO_TS setting in the Video window.

 

I can't understand how Toast could make multiple 1 GB disc images from a single project. When you choose Save as Disc Image you are saving one file. I'm presuming you are using either the EyeTV export to Toast or the Toast Media Browser to add your EyeTV recordings to the Toast Video window with DVD video selected as the format. After fixing up the menu the way you want you then choose Save as Disc Image. Do I have that correct?
