Music DVD in surround

Kewl

Question

I have surround AC3 files out of Apple Compressor and I want to make quick and dirty Music DVDs without going through a more involved authoring process in DVD Studio Pro. I tried Toast Music DVD feature, but the 5.1 files are downmixed to 2.0, stereo.

Is there any way to prevent Toast from re-encoding the AC3 files?

If you hold the option key down when dragging AC3 files to the Music DVD window they won't get re-encoded. However, I can't seem to avoid having one audio file per title, which would limit you to 99 tracks per DVD. Maybe you can figure a way around that. When I hold down option while adding a folder of AC3 tracks they still appear as individual titles.
