Overscan (video cut off)

The TV Safe zone is cutting off about %10 of my video. How can i make the WHOLE video appear on the TV screen? I read somewhere to use an overlay, but I don't have an overlay button, so i don't know what to do. This problem has already ruined several blank DVDs, so any help would be appreciated.

What product do you have? I know that both V8 and V9 versions of Video Wave and probably V8 version of MyDVD has overlays.

 

Add a color panel to the main track in video wave. Make it longer than the video you want to add. Now click to add image/video, select the video and click open. You should get a dialog box asking where you want the video placed, select overlay. You can then size it down to where it fits into the TV safe zone by dragging one of the corners. Click on show/hide tracks and select overlay, you should see the video on that track.
