I had to reinstall Windows media Player 11 to fix a codec issue. Now the Simulation function in DVDit doesn't work. do I need to reinstall DVDit, or is there a repair option?

You should be able to run a repair install thru the control panel in add/remove programs. Can't say if that will fix your problem but it's easy to do.

Cooking a disk now, sans the simulation tool. Took advantage of an emailed offer to upgrade to DVDit HD.

I was using version 6.1.16 was that the recent build? I realize that HD is 6.3 something, but I may do a system wipe as the OS is inf or a couple of years, and things seem to get quirky around that point. The PC is not hooked to the web as a rule , typically only for activation needs.
