Simultaneous Destinations in Disc Copy

Habby

Question

Help, I have used roxio version 7 for a long time on XP on my old computer. I use disc copier to make copies of my personal videos. The simultaneous destination option lets me burn two disc's at a time and speeds up things. I downloaded Roxio creator 9 suite on a new computer with Vista and in disc copier it sees both my burners but I don't get the simultaneous Destination option. Someone please help.

Put a disc in both drives, make the number of copies 2 and then hit the dropdown next to copy and choose Advanced copy. When the box pops up put a check next to both drives and hit ok.It will pop up the copy box and show both drives being copied to.

How can it be that you pound away trying to do something so simple and it is right there under your nose. I really thank you for the help. I didn't even notice the little drop down arrow by the copy button. Forums are proving to be better than calling support. Thanks again. Jesus is Lord............

You're welcome. The only thing I'm not sure of what will happen is if you use one of the drives for the source.Hopefully it would cache the file and then still write both discs at once.I tried it with a file on my computer and it wrote to both at once.

Forums, especially user forums, are often a great source of help.Hey,they're users just like us,with the same problems and often come up with the best answers. If you have any more problems or questions c'mon back and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

I tried this in Vista and it worked just like I said.I had tried it before I posted.

Remember you don't get the choice for 2 drives from the main screen, you need to hit Advanced Copy before you can choose more than one drive.

This pic is from v8 in XP but my screens look the same in v9 in Vista.
