This might work for you since it worked for many people in version 7 and 7.5. However, it could also be a codec problem. Since it plays in WMP, I'm hopeful this fix will work. You should reboot after running this.

I believe that the poster did not know that the work "this", in your post, was actually a link.

 

 

Well THIS actually worked :) thank you, guess I have just really been frustrated with nothing going right on Roxio lately.

 

I have been going through the other threads and have a question about AVI files. I have done lots of capturing and editing before and it has always worked, were they avi files? or mpeg that is the default. And how do you change default for capturing? I have windows XP?
