Problems registering EMC9 via Roxio website

Hi there. Any help would be welcome.

 

I am attempting to register Easy Media Creator 9 via the website. I log in and select the "register a new product" link. On the next page it displays drop down boxes. I select Easy Media Creator and the page refreshes and populates the version number drop down box. If I select either of the Roxio Creator 9 options then when I click to go to the next page it comes back with the same page and red writing at the top which says "Sorry an error occured registering your product. Please try again later." If I choose any of the Easy Media Creator 8 options it takes me to the page where I can enter my CD key.

 

Sending an e-mail to register manually simply results in a standard response which includes suggestions such as switch off the firewall.

 

Can anyone suggest how I successfully register the software, please?

Thanks for the suggestion.

 

As I can proceed to the next step when I choose an option other than Roxio Creator 9 I think there a fault with the website rather than the database being down. I've been trying this for about a month now 8-(

Actually, you can manually register there as well - did you check to see if your program actually is registered?

The manual register option merely gets an automated response. Eventually sorted the problem by going to technical support and they manually registered me

Glad you got it sorted - I was just thinking anyway that the website does use pop-ups and these do interfere with trying to get at things unless blockers are turned off.

 

I should have caught on to that and told you earlier :(

Possibly there is a server problem (it's happened before)

 

Give it a day or two and try again.

 

You can check btw on your registration by going here and logging in with your username and password (same one as here normally)
