Music Disc Creator

Question

Ok so i have 2 computer that i installed RMC9 and Both now have the same problem... 1 week and it down on both... What is up with that.....

 

I want to make a mix CD or MP3 but i cant get the ADD file to open up, how the hell am i supposed to Get the song to the Ripping list!!!! :angry2::glare::glare::glare:

Check on anything else you may have installed before it went down. Also, did you do anything (run a registry cleaner like Norton OBC, etc)

 

btw - I don't know if you bought two copies, but you are only allowed to install on one machine per license

thanks i call support and they send me a solutions... here it is really easy.. now it works perfect!!!

 

Issue: Music Disc Creator wont launch or will launch only splash screen.

 

 

Resolution:

 

WARNING: THE NEXT STEP INVOLVES EDITING YOUR SYSTEM REGISTRY. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU EXPORT

 

YOU’RE REGISTRY BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY EDITING. EDITING YOUR REGISTRY INCORRECTLY CAN CAUSE IRREPARABLE SYSTEM DAMAGE.

 

1. To export a copy of your registry, please do the following.

 

a. Go to "Start" then "Run", type "regedit" and click "OK".

 

b. Locate and left click "File" in the upper left hand corner of the Registry editor.

 

c. Click "Export" (Export range All should be selected).

 

d. Choose a location on your hard drive and give the file a name.

 

e. Click "Save”. Your registry should now be backed up in a .reg file to the location you specified.

 

Note: if you are not familiar with editing the Registry then you may want to have someone do it for you.

 

Registry Edit instructions:

 

2. Select the "Start" menu-->Select "Run"--->Type: regedit. Click "OK".

 

Double-click the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder" this will expand or open the folder.

 

a. Locate the "Software" folder, expand this folder.

 

b. Locate the "Roxio" folder, expand this folder

 

c. Locate the "emc9" folder, expand this folder

 

d. Locate the "MusicDiscCreator" folder, right click on this folder and choose delete.

 

e. Double-click the "Hkey_Local_Machine folder" this will expand or open the folder.

 

f. Locate the "Software" folder, expand this folder.

 

g. Locate the "Roxio" folder, expand this folder

 

h. Locate the "emc9" folder, expand this folder

 

i. Locate the "MusicDiscCreator" folder, right click on this folder and choose delete.

 

Restart the PC and try to launch Music Disc Creator.
