Drew Wrobel
I installed DivX as part of the EMC 9 Deluxe installation. Yesterday I ran DivX and it said that there was an update available. I applied the update without thinking about it. Today I was unable to Launch EMC 9 or any of it's components. Nothing would happen. I had to completely uninstall DivX and EMC 9 and re-install EMC 9 in order for it to start working again. Has anyone had any problems, issues upgrading DivX after it was installed? Many of us have had to follow this post after we updated divx. The bottom line is after you install EMC9, don't update divx. I'm not really sure if the 9.1 update do out soon fixes this but I hope so. Some of the divx updates have increased speeds and would be a nice update.
