Phareux Posted August 4, 2007 Report Share Posted August 4, 2007 i downloaded the emcsuite and then installed it but when i try to start it up i get the message "certificate is missing or corrupt" how can i get the certificate with out going through the downloading process. gi7omy Posted August 4, 2007 Report Share Posted August 4, 2007 You may need to do the clean uninstall/install from the pinned post at the top of this forum You won't need to re-download the two files you already have (but I'd recommend burning them to two CDs asap so you have them as backup) Also, try extracting the contents of the 'program' file using winrar or winzip (it's a self-extracting archive file) to a folder anywhere on the hard drive and run setuop.exe from that. gi7omy Posted August 5, 2007 Report Share Posted August 5, 2007 Glad it's fixed Winace should work (haven't used that in ages because I found .ace was a bit on the fragile side for FTP working but I think it could handle self-extracting .zips) - just try it anyway (right click on the download and 'open with' winace) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
