Widescreen burning as 4:3

Question

Hi - I have several movie files in AVI format that are widescreen but when I burn them using MYDVD Express, they burn onto the DVD as 4:3 so I get some of the screen cut off. Is there a way for me to burn it as widescreen?? Thanks.

Instead of Express, open MyDVD, click on Add New Movie, browse to your .avi file, and bring it in. If it doesn't show widescreen, click on File/Project Settings, and change it to 16:9.

One more question - Does MyDVD have an option to burn without a menu?? That was the main reason I was using MyDVD Express to begin with. Thanks.

Yes, before you bring your movie in, click on File/New Project/DVD, no menus.

Awesome - Thanks. You guys are truly the best!! Meanwhile, I just burned one of my movies and it automatically burned as widescreen. I am just not sure why the others didn't do that before. Oh well, now I know how to fix it in the future! Thanks.
