richardteam
What's the difference between Easy Media Creator 7, Easy Media Creator 7.5, and VideoWave Professional 7? Is there any? Seems like there isn't, but I just wanna make sure.
sknis
There is a lot of difference in the three products. VideoWave professional is a program that only does video work and burns it to disc. EMC 7 is a suite of programs that contain video, audio, and some back up features. EMC 7.5 is a larger suite of programs that combines the programs in V 7 with many more features that were developed by Sonic Solutions. It depends on what you are doing on what you should buy. At the minimum, get 7.0. At the maximum, go for EMC 8. In EMC 8 many of the programs have changed and there are some other useful features. The audio features are important because there is limited functionality to do any audio editing in VW professional. If you plan to do any slide shows or to add edited music to a video production or just make compilation of your music tracks on a cd, you need Sound Editor What's the difference between Easy Media Creator 7, Easy Media Creator 7.5, and VideoWave Professional 7? Is there any? Seems like there isn't, but I just wanna make sure.
Guest mlpasley
EMC 7 contains VideoWave 7 Pro. If all you are doing is making movies, then VW 7 Pro will do what you need. The one thing it doesn't have which will help burn multiple copies of a DVD is Disk Copier. I'd suggest that you take a look under Products on the left to see what each product contains. Click on VideoWave7 Pro, then Learn More and in the bottom left hand corner of the Data Sheet there is a comparison of features between VW7 Pro and EMC7. However, EMC 7 has been replaced with EMC 8. In one of his off-beat posts, way back when, he said he has been using the program (Version 7 or 7.5) for over a year. The onslaught of posts lately, are for post count.
