katy2446
I have ecdc 5platinum on this computer running xpprofessional. I have files on this computer that I created with this program on a computer with windows 98......they play fine. today I attempted to record an LP onto the hard drive.....using sound stream....I go into spin doctor.....I have two choices as to source ( via audio wave and file.....I choose audio wave, set record options....and start my record...when I attempt to use "preview" nothing happens.....can't hear the sound and nothing shows on the input level. If I hit record, it appears to be working, but when I am done, the file seems to play in media player, but there is no sound?? if a pick a music "file" from my computer to record, the preview button works. what am I doin' wrong??? I feel there must be some small thing I am missing....I haven't used my roxio to copy LPs for some time but really enjoyed doing this! help!
