i have a Dell Dimension E310 running XP Home Edition. it has Roxio Creator LE - Dell Edition. after many times of burning music and files to CDs successfully, i am having troubles and not sure what it is. for some reason the the CD-R discs are not seeming to be seen. it tells me to insert a disc and when i do the software hangs there waiting as if no disc was inserted. i have tried formatting and making compatible with the Direct to Disc option and it writes the information to the disc, or seems to but then there is nothing there.
i have gotten error messages when quitting the application:
Mediahub.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x00a8ad5c" referenced memory at "0x01f8abdo". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program.
next:
Mediahub.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
i've been messing with this but am not very versed with this kind of computer problems. i was actually able to burn some 1.9GB of files to a DVD, so that is working. but suddenly i can't write to CD's. any help would be greatly appreciated.
