EMC Error code during installation

My OS is Vista Home Premium and I purchased the EMC 9 from Roxio online. When I try to install I get as far as installing the Update manager and then it starts to roll back. Then I get the following error message " System encountered an error during installation ERROR CODE 0652" Anyi dea what happened and how to fix?

Not real sure. Are you installing as Administrator? Disconnect from the net, turn off any antivirus and spyware programs, net security/firewalls etc. Log in as admin and try again.

Tried everything you said and no luck. It shows that it is replacing the DE version no luck it did not upgrade.

If you have a Dell and it was preloaded with EMC then try uninstalling it first then trying to install your downloaded version.The DE version is the Dell version.

Done that also with no luck
