To be quite frank, I am more than pissed off with this program and the so called support files on the Roxio main site.
If I am able to sucssefully create and burn DVDs with Adobe Encore CS3, Vista DVD Maker and Ulead DVD workshop 2 without it crashing at any of the stages of creating the DVD and end up with a good qulity playing DVD that works in my DVD player then there is clearly something very wrong with DVDit Pro.
When installing DVDit Pro HD 6.3 Windows Vista warns of a compatability issue.
After spending hours buiding a project and then during the building of the project in the Burn to disk the program crashes during the Transcording of the Video stage. I have used the same Video file DivX avi in all my other DVD Authoring softtware with no problems. I then re encorded the same video to an ordinary avi file and again with no issues with any of the other DVD programs that I have used it with, except one, DVDit pro.
The solutions offered by Roxio support is to suggest that my computer is somehow broken and that I should fix it.

Burning errors can happen for a variety of reasons. Roxio has found that doing the following steps resolves about 80% of all burning issues. Please give all these steps a try and see if it fixes your writing problems.
"Update your drive's firmware/drivers."
There is nothing wrong with your drive's firmware/drivers so don't start going into a panic and play around with these. If you are not having any issues with other Video editing programs and DVD making software then leave well alone. If it's not broken then don't fix it. With Roxio's help you'll just end up screwing up your system.
My advice is to get rid of the bloody thing, it's not worth the hassle if the best Roxio can do is to have us all running around in this forum and messing about with their program trying to fix it. That's thier job to sort out the issues, not ours.
All the other DVD and Video Authoring Software that I use with Dvix, Avi and Mpeg works fine. Thanks for pointing the finger at all us uses of your program Roxio telling us it's our fault. Take some responsiblity.
