dvd movie hanging on color panels with text

Question

:( Hello;

I have used videowave to create a movie with mpeg video & stills with mp3 & wav music added to the music track. I have then went to mydvd to complete movie. I have chaged the backgroung on the menues to a jpeg pic & i have added 9 chapters to the production. I have chaged the backgroung audio to a mp3 song. I have done this before with a 15 minute project with 3 chapters with no problems. I am outputing to an iso file & burning using disc copier. In previewing the movie in disc copier there are no problems. After burning the dvd when I play it back the text & audio hang at every chapter marker. I have tried going to less chapters & using stock menu. I have updated my video card (Ati mobility radeon x600) & I am using hardware render. My computer is a dell laptop amd 64 3700 with 1gb ram. my burner is HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GCA-4080N. I have made about 20 coasters now trying to change the motion of the text & everything else I have read in the forums. I have been opening mydvd from the roxio screen instead of thru the program menu. Does anybody have any suggestions as I have been working on burning this for days now & my church is waiting on this dvd of our youth camp. Thanks in advance for any help! God bless.

By "9 chapters" do you mean you added a single movie then marked 9 chapter points, or did you add 9 movies that play one after the other?

I added a single movie & marked 9 chapter points. I went back & looked at 1 of the dvd's I made with only 3 chapter points & noticed that the movie is hanging every place I inserted a color panel & have text flying in & out which is where I have been marking the chapters. Those are the only places in the 45 min. movie that it hangs, on the text motion & music if there is music in that spot & it does it if there is a chapter point or not. I have text flying in & out over pictures & video throughout the movie with no problems. This is really confusing & I really need help, Please!!!!
