Backup My PC

I have backup MyPC. I have backup's that were made to a file that is named date.qic. I can restore these files with no problem. I have found a couple of backup disks that when put in a XP system have only one file on them called readme.txt. This file says that it is a backup cd and to use the backup software to restore the data. I can't get backup MyPC to open the CD or even to get backup MyPC The only choice i have for restore is file.

My question is is this a backup MyPC backup or some other software?

Sounds like it is a file from something else or a backup from a version of BUMP your version is not compatible with. It may even be a bootable CD
