roxio creator 9xe cineplayer

ive installed roxio software and when i click cineplayer this dialog box say-com object with CLSID {678412B0-ADD1-47F8-98E3-0C1B6EBA8D1A} is either not valid or not registered.Ipress ok,then this comes up-Windows media player 9.0 or higher is required to run this application-please re-install the latest version of windows media player and run the application again.Iam on vista,38bit.also new to comps and internet,please help

First thing you need to do before anyone will most likely be able to help is to click on "My Controls" at the top of the forum screen and then enter some information about your computer. For an example, look at the bottom of my post and you will see some of the computer hardware etc. that I am running.
