how to change languge french to english

Have downloaded version and have uninstalled it and reinstalled it three times and it seems to be good except it is in french. (I dont read much french!!!) Was told it should give option at the first screen but it never does. Should I redownload version again or is there a way to change language preference? this is rather time consuming , puts a damper on the downloading version. Help...
