Newb Question Re Dvd Music Discs

sgtpork

Question

I created my first DVD music disc yesterday and it came out fine. But even though I had unchecked the smart playlist option, Toast still organized my music into artist/album groups. How can I prevent Toast from organizing that way so I can just have one massive playlist? I want it that way so I can set the disc to shuffle through every song, not just within albums.

BTW: I imported all my songs from an external HDD, not from my iTunes library. Could that have affected the way Toast arranged the songs?

Thanks.

The best way for you to get what you want is to add one folder of tracks. Now click the Edit button and either add one more folder at a time or select multiple additional tracks to include in that playlist. Each playlist can hold up to 99 tracks (this is a limit set by the video DVD spec). You also can drag the tracks in any order you want within that Edit window.

Just try experimenting with different ways to organize the music. What you see in the Toast Audio window will be how the music is organized on the DVD.
