Creating a simple slideshow

Rob G.

Question

I am new to this product. I have approximately 300 photos that I would like to burn to a dvd to show as a slideshow. It seems to me that when I navigate through the program, the software is designed to make it "simple" yet I can't seem to get pass the options that roxio is assuming I want when I create the file. For example I do not want to use one of their pre-set menus, nor do I want music on the slideshow.

I would like to be able to create a title page and have the program run my slideshow. Isn't' there an easy way to do this?

thanks

Rob

Thank you for your reply. I burned a test dvd to a dvd rw that did not play in my dvd player, I then read that many dvd players do not recognize dvd rw, and that I should burn my slideshow to a dvd r disc, is that correct in your experience?

Is this a stand alone player? What does the manual of your DVD player state regarding the types of media it can handle? Can you play it back on your PC player?

Before buying any disc, check first if you can play the file. Do you have movie player on your system where you can play back the image file? If not, use the Disc Image Loader to play the image file.

It's possible that your DVD player doesn't like DVD-/+RW media. Does it play on your computer? If so, try a DVD+R or DVD-R disc.
