Dissolve Issue

I am having some problems with the quality of the dissolve feature on the movies once I am viewing the DVD on a TV. When I view the project using Roxio Creator 9 everything looks good, dissolve works without any degradation. When I watch the DVD the dissolve feature looks like this:

 

1. Video 1

2. Video 1 with gray "filter"

3. Video 2 with gray "filter"

4. Video 2

 

There is no real dissolving going on, just a gray filter. Is there anything I can do so that what I see on the computer is that same thing that is burned to the DVD?

Sounds like a potential issue with your video card when it's encoding the final output. Try updating the drivers for your video card (from the manufacturer, not MS updates) and update Directx to the latest version.

 

If that doesn't help, post back with some details on your system, especially your video card.
