'Operating System Error"

DVDit Pro 6.3

 

When trying to Burn, Write Volume or ISO, I get the following error:

operating System error: HRESULT = 0x-80040200 - Unable to IdDirectInputJoyConfig.Aquire..." It will go through most of the process and then finally "cancel" the procedure.

 

I have administrator rights and have current Directx. I've reinstalled Windows XP and done everything I can think of. There was a prior thread on this topic, but it gave no fix. Any ideas.

does this happen to all files you have? are they all the same file types?

It occurs when I use an avi file, which is the only thing I've tried.

Not only does it occur with AVI files, I just tried it with WMV and I still get the error. I did NOT get the error when creating a project using jpg's and no movie.
