Install failure

I am having trouble installing Toast 8. I have a G3 with a G4 upgrade card installed, lots of ram and lots of hard drive space available.I am running system 10.4.10 and I purchased Toast 8 Titanium - version 8.0 (112). I downloaded the zipped file, Double clicking opens it to a Disk image file. Double clicking on that opened it to a folder with a toast icon.. Double clicking on that opened folder which contains 3 files. One was the application folder which I dragged and dropped on my application folder. After copying was complete I double clicked folder and selected Toast icon which I dragged to dock creating an alias. Double clicking alias caused it to bounce up and down in dock which is normal but it stops and returns to dock and is not highlighted for selection anymore. Never opens with the install password window. Technical support seems to have forgotten about me. Any help appreciated .

 

Also I did a search after multiple failures and removed every file I could find from my old toast version.

Can you try downloading the 8.0.1 update (Toast 8.0.1 (137))? There was at least one crash issue resolved in the update.

Can I also ask where you downloaded this version of the software if you just purchased it? Our online store normally provides the latest version when purchased.
