piet
I am using sonic digital media plus v7 for back up. the application is preinstalled on my computer when I bought the pc. I am using Windows XP. When I made a backup of my data, after the backup digital media plus v7 will not start again. I have to restore an earlier restoration point and then digital media plus v7 is able to start. So before I make the backup, I first make a restoration point so I can restore that point after the backup. Is there any solution to solve this problem? Thanks. ogdens
Best bet is to buy Nero Burning Rom - here is why, just try doing a search on the Roxio support site for "Sonic DigitalMedia LE v7" this product was shipped on my DELL computer. Their support site returns a result of "0" ??? Whats up with that? If you try to install a Roxio product on a Windows OS system that has any version of Nero you will get a message from the Roxio program that it is not compatible with Nero products and the Nero must be removed! They even went as far as having a routine that automatically removes the Nero product! If they can go to all that trouble to not be compared to the Superior competition from Nero, they could sure as heck make their product work with other products. They are scared to death that if you see how the Roxio product is so inferior to Nero you won't buy any more Roxio! 'Nuff said? All support for OEM versions comes from the oem provider, in your case Dell. (http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/General%20Information/000036GN ) Many users have Roxio running on the same computer as Nero. Both programs have "packet writing" installed on them, Roxio has Drag to Disc (D2D) and Nero has INcd. You can only install one packet writer at a time. Remove Nero InCD or Roxio Drag to Disc
