Macrovision Interrupts Video Transfer From Camcorder

I have new HP Media PC with Sonic Digital Media Plus V7 but I also have Roxio EMC7.5 installed which I use for movie editing. I must capture with Sonic first and am trying to transfer analog video from my camcorder. When I encounter an unrecorded gap in the tape, I get a message "Macrovision Detected" and my capture is halted. Does anyonme know how to disable that function? I am not copying copyrighted material, justy home stuff.

I think you need Sonic tech support. www.sonic.com

 

It's not supposed to do that unless you're trying to capture copy protected material.
