Importing 16:9 into MyDVD 9 Studio Premier

RichardT

Question

I have MPEG-2 files recorded on a Canon DC40 in widescreen format (16:9). When this is imported into MyDVD 9 Studio Premier, the resulting file appears to be 4:3 format with the image squashed horizontally (similar to the posting "Long Faces".

MyDVD 9 is supposed to be able to handle wide screen format video.

What am I not doing to get this right.

Help please.

You didn't mention if your camcorder was miniDV tape, miniDVD's, or hard drive, but maybe this thread will offer some help for you:
