Copy AVI files from hard disc to DVD

PapaDees

Question

I was told that I can use the Easy CD & DVD burning to take an AVI file that is on my hard drive and put it on a DVD so that I can view it on my home t.v. and dvd player. Is this true, and if so how do I do it or where do I find the instructions to follow?

Thanks

That won't work unless your DVD player is DivX capable (some are, some aren't)

However, if you have MyDVD or Videowave in the red box suite (I'm not sure what is included or what isn't) that should convert the .avi file to a playable DVD format. It will take time (on my machine it takes roughly the duration of the movie to render)

Thanks for the reply. Now off to the store to find a MyDVD program :glare:
