I love DVD builder and i have made so many picture DVDs for my family. It's worked before but it's not working now. The only problem im having is that when i add the file, the bar at the bottom says i have info. on the page but the image doesn't show up. I don't know how to fix this ! I NEED HELP PLEASE !

Did you install Internet Explorer 7 and/or Media Player 11?

 

If so, roll back to the earlier ones (you may have to do a repair install of EMC7 unfortunately)

That's an indication that you may have installed IE 7. If so, uninstall it thru add/remove programs. It's not vcompatible with EMC 7 (and a number of other programs).

Are you asking about the burn time to disc or the encoding time of the project?

 

They are actually two different steps in the process. First your project is encoding into video format if needed, which will take as least as long as your project total time is, and usually longer, depending on your system. So project with a total time of 1 hour will take at least an hour, but typically longer. 2 hours wouldn't be unusual even. Then comes the burning to the disc part, which typically would take anywhere from 10 to 15 min depending on the burning speed capabilities of your burner, and the burning speeds of the disc you are using.

 

So, can you encode and burn faster? Maybe. Maybe not. It depends on your system and your hardware. The hardware may be upgradable to improve it, but IMHO it's probably not going to make a great deal of difference. Sometime you can improve it somewhat by shutting down any other programs that are using system resources, turn off screen savers, AV, etc... and don;t use the computer to do stuff like email, web browsing etc.
