To get mp3 files to play in the proper order on a CD I'm burning I usually prefix the filename with numbers, e.g. 01, 02, 03, etc. By doing this the files would play in proper order whether or not the device playing them would make use of a playlist. Well, that's what I did in version 7 and it work fine. But there has been an improvement in version 8 in that the prefixed numbers are removed from the filenames (as soon as the files are dropped into place from Windows explorer). Does anyone know if (and how) this improvement can be switched off?
