Vista vs. Soundsoap

Tom Mc

Question

Is there any progress on resolving the problem that prevents Soundsoap from installing along with EMC9 with VISTA?

I managed to get eveything loaded (including the Pinnacle Drivers) but can't see Soundsoap - yet.

Tomjava script:emoticon(':(', 'smid_2')

Soundsoap is not Vista compatible. At least not the version that comes with EMC. I believe the standalone version has been updated and should work with Vista.

If you have Soundsoap installed on your computer and it won't work with Vista, go to the SoundSoap website (bias-inc.com) and they have an updated Vista driver for SoundSoap. If you already have the updated drivers trhen look for the program as shown below:

BTW, Soundsoap does not show in EMC as one of the programs. It is listed separtely when you go to START--ALL PROGRAMS and look for "BIAS".

One other problem you "MIGHT" find is that when you open up SoundSoap and you get a "Parse" error screen when you try and open an MP3 audio file, you must have the "Quicktime" Program installed. SoundSoap uses some of it's files to un-condense the MP3 audio file so SoundSoap can use it.
