DVD Audio

boughtit

Question

I have Roxio Creator 9 and a Sony dvd cam that records in 5.1. When I create DVDs, the sound isn't 5.1 on the discs I create with Roxio. The original discs I record with the dvd cam do have 5.1. I was just wondering if it was possible to put that 5.1 sound on the dvds I create. I also have a video card question. My graphics card is about the only thing I havn't upgraded on my computer. I bought it in 2000. It wasn't top of the line then. I was wanting to know if it is a sub-par video card, would it affect the qaulity of DVDs I make. Thank you.

Thank you. Is there any software that you would recommend that does support surround sound?

Since this board is sponsored by Roxio, you really don't expect an answer to that, do you? Look around. there are other programs that may give you what you want.

If anyone wants to make suggestions, please do so in a pm to the OP.

BTW, DVDiT Pro will do it but it is more of a pro-consumer product rather than a consumer. (and the $$ show it) There is a section of this forum devoted to DVDiT Pro if you want to get more user information.
