Glenaj7
When shopping for the best CD to use I see that some are made for music, some pictures and others without designation. Does it really matter which one you get. In other words, if there is no designation, won't it work just as well?
Brendon
"Music" blank CDs are usually ordinary discs where a flag has been set to show an extra tax has been paid to help support the recording industry. Their quality is generally no better than other discs, but there were a few portable recorders made which will only record on these flagged discs. Music and programs are both data, and a disc that is good for one will be just as good for the other. The manufacturer of your recorder might suggest a brand that the recorder has been tested with. Apart from that, try a selection of reputable brands and settle for one that your recorder is happy with. You tend to take a chance with the really cheap discs, but there's no need to go much higher than the middle price range.
