PowerPoint 2002 and later also has a packager that you can use to put a powerpoint presentation on a CD so it can be played from any Windows PC, even if that does not have PowerPoint installed (you would need to download and install the PowerPoint viewer to include in the package. You can get that from

http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/download...0798701033.aspx

or

http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/download...2070641033.aspx if you have PwerPoint 2007.

Check the PowerPoint help file for Pack and go wizard.

But you can't play that on a player, of course.

ok, I kown what you want.

In fact, what you need is just a conversion tool that can convert PPT to DVD. Then I recommend you use this tool: Moyea PPT to DVD Burner. yes,it's the right one.\

This tool can convert your PPT files to DVD format files and burn them to DVD disc.

You'd need to ask about that in a MS forum - it's their program

Quick and dirty method: use the Print Scrn button to copy and then paste into a good graphics program

Powerpoint has the ability to save each slide, or the selected part of it, as an image file, like jpeg. Just open your ppt project, go to the slide, right click on it and pick "Save as Picture..." If you have problems with it, check the ppt help system.

I would like to tell you how to burn your PowerPoint to DVD and watch it on TV

If you search through Google, you may find so many software suggestions about PowerPoint to DVD and PPT to DVD, I don't know which one is the best solution, but I know basic features of the software should have

1. Fast to load

The program should load as quickly as possible so that the user receives a quick response after inserting the DVD into the drive or DVD player.

2. Full inform

The user should be provided with information about who created the DVD and what it contains.

3. Easy navigation

Leave it up to DVD viewers to decide which presentation they want to watch and in what order. You can also give your users the option to watch a presentation again or to skip it.

4. Conversion Speed

I know it's a long time when you are converting a large size PowerPoint. We do hope the software do things quickly and we can even minimize program to do other tasks during the process.

5. Video Quality

The Video quality I mentioned here refers to three things: Definition, Size, and Compatibility.

Definition and Size means that when you are watching your PowerPoint on TV, it should be clear enough and the video size should fit to the screen. Compatibility enables you to play the DVD on different DVD player. It is better for you to play your DVD presentation on most popular DVD Players.

You may take Acoolsoft PPT2DVD to have a free trial!

Hope it can help you!

If I remember correctly, Power Point will do that as a batch process. I'm nit sure about slides where there are builds. I think it only does the final if there are builds.

If you get what you want on your computer as image files, go to the Slide Show Assistant under the Photos tab. It will have three steps. Add the images and select the DVD Slide Show transition. It gives you full control over forward/back navigation of the show. No music, transitions or video effects.

Why not try Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Pro:

Its key features:

1. Preserve all powerpoint originals like animations, transitions, video clips and sounds.

2. Output various video formats and DVD formats including HD videos and HD DVD.

3. Full support for Win7 and PowerPoint 2010.

You do realize that you replied to a 2 1/2 year old post and the original poster never came back if he found a solution.
