Larry
Nope - graphics are listed separately - 1024x768 16 bitWith nothing about directx compatible or memory if going to do video work. A lot of the onboard chips meet the listed spec, yet are not usable for video work. Arrrgggghhhh!
cdanteek
Dazzle device is the only difference. Ivan Thank you for that Ivan... I got my copy of EMC 10 for 29.99. For $30.00 bucks, I will try, buy anyone's software. cd
rzamora
But if you want useful tech features like DVDInfoPro, or you like Drag 2 Disc, keep version 9. I sent an email to Customer Support and I received a phone number 1-866-280-7694 and I got my copy of EMC 10 for 29.99. I have decided to keep EMC v9 as well. Guest ivanatrox
There was also another thread that had a comparison of EMC 10 suite and 10 Deluxe. It also showed that emc 10 suite and 10 were pretty much the same except for a Dazzle unit. Dazzle device is the only difference. Ivan
darks1de
To be honest drag to disk was a great idea badly realised i dont want to wait 2 minutes for my isk to eject when ive not done any burning since i botted my pc up,shame it was so awkward cause the ease of use was exactly what i wanted. I have found a list of features at the following link http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/creator/suite/compare.html I sort of feel cheated because I just purchased EMC version 9 and I received it yesterday. i also bought it recently but i recuieved a 70% of offer via email so if you registered you could always try if you recieve same offer and if you find it serves no purpose return for a refund

REDWAGON
WE have a new forum for EMC 10, but I cannot find any information about it on the Roxio site. Is there a link I missed? There is a little information about the EMC 10 Suite, and a demo that goes through some of the programs that are in the suite. Click on Roxio Home on the forum, then from the top menu click on Products, then All Products. Click on the EMC 10 Suite line and there is a demo you can watch that show some of the programs. Not that much technical information but it does give some indication of the suite. Frank...
jeanrosenfeld
The only reference I can find so far on Roxio's site regarding the 10 Deluxe is on this page. There's a link for it with limited info. Best I can tell from it is that it comes with the Dazzle 100, but I can't tell if there's anything else different that's not in the Suite. There is also this, but it doesn't give much more info http://roxiocentral.roxio.com/enu/offers/e...P&type=main click Addon
gi7omy
That's always the problem Larry when sales write the blurb without actually checking first what is REALLY needed to get the thing to work The Vista spec is closer to real-life viability imo
gi7omy
Nothing runs on 128MB of ram. Maybe they meant for a video card it needs to be at least 128 ram? Nope - graphics are listed separately - 1024x768 16 bit
ggrussell
Capture and edit HD videoHmm.... I wonder WHICH? HDV or AVCHD? Capture via USB supported? Bet he heard a lot about this here.
Beerman
I noticed that it says 'only $50 more' - then when you get to the link $30 are slashed off I'm a bit concerned about the 'recommended' specs tho # Windows Vista with 1.6 GHz Intel processor, 512 MB RAM # Windows XP with 500 MHz processor or faster; 128 MB RAM 500 MHz and 128 MB of RAM??????? There's NO way that will cut it - even XP will struggle at that spec, never mind running any app Nothing runs on 128MB of ram. Maybe they meant for a video card it needs to be at least 128 ram? There's NO way that will cut it - even XP will struggle at that spec, never mind running any app I agree, those minimum specs are misleading IMHO. One might get by with the non-video related parts of the Suite, but that'll never cut it for any video work, nor will the video minimum specs listed. malatekid
I noticed that it says 'only $50 more' - then when you get to the link $30 are slashed off ... The $50 discount is the difference between the Deluxe list price ($149.99) and the Suite list price ($99.99). The online order offers mail-in rebate of $20 for the regular Suite and $30 for Deluxe. malatekid
That's for EMC 10 Suite. Amazon is advertising EMC 10 Deluxe. Have you seen a product description or comparison for Deluxe anywhere, Jess? Yeah, the link I posted was for Suite. Thanks Brendon. I have not seen one for the Deluxe yet; only the one in Amazon site. And here is the press release on EMC10 Suite. The only reference I can find so far on Roxio's site regarding the 10 Deluxe is on this page. There's a link for it with limited info. Best I can tell from it is that it comes with the Dazzle 100, but I can't tell if there's anything else different that's not in the Suite. On the right hand side of that linked page, there is a blurb on Deluxe ("Upgrade your Expectations").
