Emc 8 Unable To Finalize Dvd

After having used several verisions of Easy CD for about 10 years I decided to upgrade to 8.

At one point I even formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP Pro. I have returned to Easy CD/DVD 6. I have been unable to get 8 to finalize my DVD. Any ideas.....

Windows XP Pro fully updated

LiTe on and Plextor burners

 

I have reinstalled 6 but it hung on reboot after running updates by hand.

Any suggestions on this or above.

I have been reading all forum posts.

A error message appears and can be sent to Microsoft etc...

I'm using Verbatim DVD's and Plextor and Lite-On drives

I trying to finalize the DVD from the main program icon.

Which is installed on the Desktop of EMC 8.

I'm using Verbatim DVD's DVD-R.

I have unistalled EMC 8 and reinsalled Easy CD 6 at this point.

I have reviewed all posting and this appears to be a bug in 8.

A error message did appear and ask if I want to send it to Microsoft.

From what I can read this program 8 has alot of problems install and unistall update and running.

I have been using Easy CD for a long time and have had no problems.

I have tried other media such as CD-R and DVD-RW with the same problem.

DVD and CD-R copy and finalize just fine using Disk Copy.
