download attempts exceeded?

I purchased the download version but have now exceeded the 20 download attempts due to a dodgy connection over the past couple of days, i have emailed and messaged support but not yet had a response, does anyone know of a telephone contact no. or any other way i can get this software downloaded?

thanks i will try again, i have already filled this form in once and also emailed customer support at digital river who supply the download facility but neither have replied to my emails, i'm getting quite annoyed now, maybe its time to call in trading standards as I've paid my money but not got my goods?!?

They will respond. To be fair though, 20 attempted downloads is pretty generous. You may want to just get a refund and order a disc.

How long will it take them to reply? I've sent 2 messages in the past week and not heard a thing from them!

 

I wasn't aware you would be able to get a refund on a download, if thats the case then i would rather get my money back and buy the disc.

Ok, I just manually checked on this and it looks like twice they have increased the downloads that are available to you. I imagine they are responding and your junk mail filter is filtering it out.

 

You might just want to tell them you need a refund so you can order the disc. Be sure to check your junk mail filter settings.

Yeah i checked the junk mail settings, i got a reply today they increased it from 50 to 70, the problem is yesterday my attempts were 51 and today when i tried to download it its saying ive attempted 73 downloads so how can jump from 51 to 73 in 1 day when i havent tried to download it?? very strange i will have to request a refund and order the disc.

 

 

Just another thought do you think it could have anything to do with the fact im using downthemall download manager for firefox?

I'll bet that's your problem. If it's like most, it splits the file into multiple download pieces and/or it gets intterupted and resumes. Each of those pieces, and each resume would count as a download attempt. If you were to attempt to download the old way (not a download manager), that probably would have worked.

ok i think you are right, in the download window it says 5 of 5, i never realized it actually split the file into segments, oh dear, i wonder if they will increase my attempts one more time so i can try?
