Encoding Freeze

I am new to EMC9, previously using ver. 6. I have imported my video files from my camcorder. All looks good. I select 'burn' and the dialog box opens. I confirms settings and hit OK. The encoding box opens but nothing happens.

 

I have a new Gateway (2 months old) with DL DVD, Windows Vista, etc.

By that statement do you mean that it shows progress at 0%?

 

Try updating your video card drivers (from the manuf, ATI, Nvidia, etc, not thru MS updates). If you already have the latest ones, uninstall then, reboot so the windows generic ones are being used, then install the drivers again.
