creating chapters

I use EMC9 and Vista. I do not want to automatically create chapters. I try to play the movie and then add chapters at certain points at the movie, but when i press the play button it just does not play the movie. I try manually to move the little blue marker and goes through the movie but under the screen where it says position and duration the position always shows 00:00. The duration shows the lenght of the entire movie. How can I make my first chapter to stop at say 01.27 and the second to start at 01.28 minute of the entire movie.

I think the best way is to leave it alone in VW and add chapters in MyDVD.

 

But unless you created that special behavior in MyDVD you don't understand the purpose of chapters.

 

Chapters are bookmarks that allow you to skip to places in a DVD then go from there to the end.
