Auto-run For Dvd Slide Show

Hi Folks,

I purchased EMC 8 in order to create a slide show which will auto run at the end without having to go through the menu and select the show again. I'm having trouble finding this functionality in the application, can any of you assist?

 

I actually originally created the show in PowerPoint and was hoping 8 would simply convert it to DVD in Autorun mode but am not sure this is possible either. Know it can be saved as data, but can it be saved in presentation mode and with autorun also?

 

Anyway, i'm prepared to start over and rebuild the presentation in 8 but only if it will play in autorun, otherwise, not sure what I will do.

EMC 8 allows you the option to create a DVD-Movie (containing video or image files) with no menu. This means as soon as you start playing the DVD, your slideshow or video will begin playback without having a menu selection. In MyDVD, to go FILE --> NEW --> and choose the DVD, No Menu option.....

 

I'm going to have to test this and see what happens at the end... I believe it may just stop unless your software player or DVD player have a repeat option.

From the "DVD & Video" main screen -> click "Edit Video" -> click " Add Photo/Video" to import all of your files (onto the timeline/storyboard) -> Add Transitions/Text Effect/etc.../ -> click "DVD" icon (on the top, above of the preview window) -> the new window (MyDVD Express) will open -> click "Disc Format /Arrow" -> select "DVD without Menus" from the drop-down list -> click "Create Disc" and...go get for yourself a cup of coffee !!!
