I can import video and watch it with no problem. But, when I click on the video project image and then click the "edit video" option, I get an error message. I have one of the HP Pavilion computers that Sam's Club sells, Windows Media Edition, AMD Athlon 64 X2 - 4200. The software from Roxio that was bundled with this computer is "Sonic Digital Media Plus 7." When I click on "edit video," the message "building preview display" appears and a progress bar that indicates the preview has been completed (the green bars go all the way to the right) and then I get the error message "Roxio MyDVD has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Any advice?
I can capture TV shows and edit them using the process described above without incident, but when I try to do the same with DVD recordings from our Canon camcorder...no joy.
