No sound after Videowave output

Rhino-Skin

Question

When I use the Output to and then the DVD profile I have no sound in the resulting mpeg using media player. Further testing indicates it is the AC3 option. I have tried Normalize and non-normalize. Then I select tv/vcr and the sound works in the output video. It seems to be the AC3 codec or output.

Install an ac3 codec like ac3 filter or one of the DVD decoder packs for wmplayer. Or else try using DVD player software like that included in EMC9

Yeah, thats what I have to do. The only issue is that I have a media center landscape and it is not functional with the xbox extenders that leverage the wmp11 codecs remotely. For the time being I just select the tv/vcr preset which uses mpeg1 not ac3.

The problem is resolved when I installed a thrd party ac3 decoder.
