Error Message When I Try To Convert Pal Into Ntsc

Hi there,

 

I do all the instructions that you said to do... Then I press record, I get a windows message:Could not record the disc because of a Mac OS Error. Result Code = 1634955892

 

I would like to know why? I have a Mac G5 1st generation (befor the new Intel Chip and the integrated camera), I run OS 10.4.5. I am on the Toast Update 7.2.0

As I recall that error comes up when Toast has encountered an error in the original MPEG file. Try exporting the video to a DV file and then have Toast do the PAL to NTSC conversion from the DV file.

I had this error happen when trying to burn a dvd image in Toast 7.1.2 when my hard drive space was low. I deleted a few things to free up space. The error went away and the disc burned perfectly. Hope that helps!
