EMC 7.5 and Windows Vista...

I fried my old laptop and had to get a new one...and like EMC 7.5 and am familiar with it....( I am almost 70 y.o.) so don't like too many challenges! Anyone have experience trying to run EMC 7.5 under Vista?

Not sure. I had 7.0 version and updated to 9.0 after buying a PC with Vista. 9.0 had some issue with Vista, had a hard time getting it installed correctly and then an issue on importing Video. Best think I can suggest is try it, hopefully some one responds one way or the other.

 

If you have to update go to version 10. Got to be better than 9.0. I did update my 9.0 version with the patch and the one issue with the importing video went away.

Nothing earlier than EMC9 is likely to run - in fact, they won't even work correctly in XP if you install IE7 and/or WMP11 (both components of Vista)

I got 7.5 installed in Vista, but I couldn't run DVD Builder in there.

 

The music and data parts ran fine, but that was about all I could get to work.
