Cannot add anytype of video files

H! I had a new laptop came from Dell and it's come with Roxio ver. 9.. When I went to Create DVD and try to add any kind of video file it can't add??? There's a big red X on all icon of video files, I don't know if it's not compatible or maybe there's codec needs for this software!!?? I tried to add avi, mpeg, divx, mpg and still same result..

 

Can anybody help me please....

Yo Dude, Still da same.. I already install that kLite codec that u told me but i still have the same error!! The only movie file that works is *.wmv but the rest is crap... DO u have any idea wat to do wit this?? THANX!!!

Do a clean install, and turn off any antivirus software you have running, Zone Alarm, and Defender, when you are reinstalling.

You probably haven't the correct codecs installed - I use these ones myself
