fehoelzel
Anyone have any ideas about this one - I put a pre-recored CD in my CD Drive to play it. Microsoft Media will play the CD. But when I try and use Roxio to play the CD - I get a message saying that it is not an Audo CD. Also, if I try an make a copy of this CD under Create Classic, Roxio will recognized the CD under the Data tab, but as soon as I click on the Music tap, I get the same message - CD is not an audo CD. The firsts two things that come to mind are that it could be an mp3 CD (which is data, not audio), or that it could have DRM (Digital Media Rights) that enable WinPlayer to enforce the DRM, and render it unreadable to other players. Where did this disc come from? Is it a commercial Audio CD? Lynn

I did not think about the DRM, and I will need to try an older CD that I have copied before on another PC. I will do this tonight. Thanks

Thanks I tried an older CD and Roxio still would not recognized it as an Audio CD. I do not know what to do next. My CD drive is listed as a supported drive in the drive list. I have uninstalled and re-installed the software twice now and it still does not work. Does anyone have any ideas?
